- Strong, extra strong: Tiger Balm Red
- Alleviates muscle pain until it disappears.

The power of the tiger is in this balm itself. It surely appeals to you! It is the power that this animal embodies that makes this balm so famous. Like the tiger, the balm works with all its strength to fight bruised, aching muscles with great energy and efford. The secret lies in this recipe mixture, which is born from a subtle and unique blend of herbal ingredients that the Chinese have been developing for thousands of years.
The red ointment is the warm variant of both, which is primarily used to instantly soothe all muscle pain. Because of the gentle warm sensation it spreads on the effected areas, the topical ointment penetrates deep into the tissue to soothe pain.
Camphor, one of the most effective components of Red Tiger Balm, increases blood flow to the affected areas, thus reducing puffiness and swelling.
Did you know that the red Tiger Balm can also fight nail fungus? Well, yes it can!
- camphor 25%,
- menthol 10%,

You’re probably wondering, like many people, why the color of the red balm is different:
First of all, we want to reassure you: Tiger Balm Red is made without any coloring agent. Secondly, the red color of the Tiger Balm is due to the presence of the essential oil of cinnamon from Asia.
But why doesn’t this product keep the same red color? This unique and rather special color of the product is due to a mixture between a rather strong ammonia solution and a liquefied ointment, which will produce a reaction with the cassia oil to give the unique color of the product.
The ointment has a reddish-yellow color at the time of production, and gradually changes to a reddish-brown color a few months after production. The color of the product rebuilds again over time and this is due to the natural ageing process. This explains the different colors you see in the 3 jars in the photo.
The re-coloring of the ointment has no impact on the quality, effectiveness and guarantee of the product. Lighter or darker colored products are suitable for their intended use as an external anesthetic ointment. For more information on the difference between white and red tiger balm, click on this link.
